It would be appreciated if an adcom member can help, but really, I'll take any advice. I have some uneven stats: 4.0 and 513 mcat with decent, not spectacular, ECs including shadowing, scribing, coaching, mentoring, research, etc.

Here's my school list so far:

Public Schools:

• UA – Phoenix
• UA – Tucson
• University of Cincinnati
• University of Iowa
• Ohio State University
• University of Vermont
• University of Colorado
• Eastern Virginia Medical School
• University of Missouri – Kansas City
• Oakland University

Private Schools:

• University of Miami
• Medical College of Wisconsin
• Creighton University
• Emory University
• Rush University
• Thomas Jefferson University
• Lewis Katz
• University of Rochester
• Wake Forest University
• Western Michigan University
• University of Pittsburgh
• Dartmouth University
• Hofstra University
• Albert Einstein College of Medicine
• Quinnipiac University
• Tufts University
• Saint Louis University
• New York Medical College
• Penn State University
• George Washington University
• Georgetown University
• Mayo – Minnesota
• Mayo – Arizona
• Stanford University
• USC
• Yale
• Weill Cornell
• Boston University

Without significant research experience and an MCAT at or below the 10th percentile, several of your choices could reasonably be eliminated.
UMKC's OOS matriculants are largely from a special program.

I would get MSAR and research the schools according to your stats and interests.

I don't know if your stats are all as uneven as they seem to you. Really uneven stats where you have to be worried about carefully selecting the right list are a really high MCAT and lower GPA. There are lots of applicants with high GPAs with lower MCATs. However your MCAT isn't low at all! Just look into the MSAR and find schools where your 513 will fit in. Nobody will yield protect you for the 4.0.

How are these uneven stats thoughhh? That's an MCAT in the 90th percentile. You're fine on the stats. Work on having more confidence in your ECs though.

Didn't realize a 513 was the 90th percentile. I really standby what I said now. These are not uneven stats. Apply with confidence!

I have MSAR and sometimes I'm in the 10th percentile for MCAT and 90th percentile for GPA for some of the schools so this is what made me think they're uneven.

Would you remove any of the schools on the list though?

Any oos schools that don't take many oos students not sure which they are.

And you can leave all private schools on there, just be aware that the ones where you're MCAT is below their 10th percentile will be reaches/low yield for you.
