Hello all,

I'm experiencing a fairly unique situation, and searching the forums couldn't help me find a solution. I (thought that I) just graduated and am taking a year off during the 2012-2013 application cycle. My AMCAS app has already been submitted since July 1st, and is close to being reviewed and sent to medical schools. However I recently got an email from a degree auditor that I need to take one last class in order to graduate, which would delay getting my degree until end of December.

On my application I didn't list any future courses and put my graduation date as August 2012 (which I thought it would be). Is there something I can do to change that without resubmitting my application? Can I send an update to the medical schools I chose with this information, or include it in my secondaries?

I've been waiting a month for my app to be reviewed and it's almost there, but if I resubmit now it'll probably be another 6 weeks before it's reviewed.

I appreciate any advice you guys can give me!

Don't re submit. When you submitted your application, it was accurate to the best of your knowledge. If any schools ask about the change, you can explain what happened and back it up with the correspondence from your school. Don't worry about it.
