To test your character and personality:

1- How do you handle stress?

2- Can you think on your feet?

3- Do you see the glass as half full or half-empty.

4- What is your greatness weakness?

To test your ability to keep a straight face

5- " If you could be any cookie in the world, what kind of cookie would you be"

6- " if you had to describe yourself as a car, which car would you be?"

7- " Describe yourself in one word"

To assess your values

8- " If the library was on fire and you had an opportunity to save two books, what two books would they be and why? "

9- " If you won the lottery, how would you spend the money?"

I didn?t interview anywhere yet. I got those questions from the National Naval Medical center Newspaper this morning, and thought that it could be useful for this forum...

1. "Why are you wasting my time?" This was a true question that the interviewer snapped at me at U of A. Apparently the inteviewer had a remarkably bad week (lost his wife two days prior) and it was thrown from the application interview.

2. "Would you date a pharmacist? A tech? Would it matter whether you were a pharmacist or tech?" Eerie question during a job interview with WAG (The pharm. sup. at the time was a hot chick too).

3. "Who would you go out to dinner with if you could choose 3 historical figures?" My school asks this wierd question.

4. "Name a situation in which you (insert blank here) and how did you handle it?" School, job interview, etc.

5. "Do you believe in magic?" I personally ask this to interviewees as my old "shock-response" question. I've got a couple of good one for this year's crop, heh heh heh.
