Hello guys,
I took Nbde part 1 cbt last week..I had a bad experience with the testing center that day & I thought I would share it with you guys..
My exam started 9.am & when I was about to enter inside the testing hall the lady(test admin) told me that I should not talk/go out for lunch/review any notes during 1 hr lunch break!(thank god she didn't tell me that I cannot go pee! lol)..
I can understand that we shouldn't have conversation..but not to go out for lunch?!! & not to review notes doesn't seem normal!!!!!!..many of my friends took the exam & they didn't face any problems like this..They went out had lunch reviewed their notes. Infact I had planned early to review some notes during my lunch break but I was not allowed to do so 😡
Knowing this new rule my hubby contacted ada immediatly to find out whether this is true & but they were surprised that why not go out for lunch?..Then my hubby again called this test admin & told her about that & requested her to contact ada & clarify. she tried for 1 time & she said she couldn't get hold of them..& she refused to try again and started acting rude towards my hubby & she said that she would throw him out if he is asking to bend the "rules"!!!
I was wondering whether this rules will vary with each test centers?!!!!

& one more thing is I was stuck up with one subject for 1.45 min..I mean The soft ware didn't allow me save time for next subject even in the same section. 😡 .Later when I talked with my friends..they told me that they were able to do so.I mean they were able to spend 2 hrs for dental anat & remaining time for micro ..

So overall I had a bad day & experience 👎
I feel what happened to me is unfair & I don't know whom to blame ADA or Prometric? 😱

My advice to you is to read the ADA's and Prometric Policy manuals.
Usually they provide a mechanism for test takers to file complaints if anything wasnt right during the test.
If you feel that's the case then you can go ahead and file a complaint in writing.
I doubt that this will affect what your scores will be but this means they will know what went wrong and take steps to correct it in the future.

thanks for the advice..
Yes I think I am gonna go ahead & file a complaint...but then if it's not going to be any use for me?..then I guess I will sue them..Why should I be the one who is treated unfair?
