Hey all,
I have been instructed to get my military ID before arriving at my ADT (Army). The nearest place to me is the states National guard department. Do I need to or should I wear my uniform to get my ID? Or can you just go in civ. clothes?
Thanks,
-Matt

I got mine in scrubs, but they would only give me the green reservist card. I had to wait to go on my AT to get the smart card.

Where a uniform. It's unprofessional to do any work at a personnel office in civies unless you have to (between surgical cases or something).

I went in civilian clothes to the reserve DEERS office but was in a uniform for my cac. If you are going to OBC then get your ID now, if its ADT at a hospital then I'd recommend waiting until you're on active duty status so they can give you a cac which you will make it easier to log onto hospital computers.
