Hey guys,

I'm a third year med student interested in ophtho. Our school gives us 2-3 months off during our 4th year on top of time to do away rotations.

During one of my months, I really wanted to spend time getting involved in international eye health. I know there are quite a few programs out there, but does anyone know of a United Nations specific program and how I can get involved?

United Nations?? 😕

Not sure how much the U.N. needs your services but there are well-known organizations like Unite For Sight that do great work overseas in helping to eradicate blindness.
