Univ. of Oklahoma Waitlist For Fall 2008...reapplying for 2009?

I am not sure what to do. I am waitlisted for Fall 2008 only at one university and I am reapplying to all schools, however, I am not sure if reapplying to University of Oklahoma will pull me off 2008's waitlist. Any advice or previous experience information would be appreciated.😕

I would go ahead and reapply if you really want to get in. I was on the hold list until June last year and was waitlisted this year for OU. I have been accepted to another school and I'm still waiting on what OU has to say. Updates are few and far between and phone calls will get you nowhere. You just have to wait it out! I heard somewhere that there is 15 on the waitlist and you are the fourth that I have met (online!!!). I hope you hear something soon but if not, it is worth reapplying. You may get in next year right off the bat. Good luck.

Last year they took 7 people off the waitlist 2 weeks before school started,

Wow guys...thank you for your replies and for letting me know about the waitlist trend for last year.

I certainly hope they accept more people again this year...I think there are only about 6 more weeks now until school starts?

although not for ou, i had a friend get accepted on day two of orientation for her pharmacy school. she basically had to hang up the phone, buy plane tickets and move the next day. good luck! hopefully i'll see you at orientation!

Hey guys, I was accepted last Thursday off the alternate list but I have decided to turn it down and attend Harding University College of Pharmacy. Good luck if you are still on that list!
