Hey all, I was just wondering about everyone that has been accepted and that has been rejected/waitlisted at UB currently, and in the past few years...

Could you list you GPA, PCATs, experience, and prereq classes that you took? I'm trying to get an idea of what they look for and what they look down on for potential candidates.

Thanks 🙂

come on, outta 70 people, someone must go or have applied to UB...

I applied to UB last year and got waitlisted -- I had a 95% PCAT, 3.3 GPA, BS Biochem degree, and about a year and a half experience in a retail pharmacy (interview could of went better) .... I'm applying again this year, with a 99% PCAT, slightly better GPA, and more experience - hoping things go a little better this time around.

I applied but there is no way they're letting me in! I have a 76% PCAT, mainly because I bombed the math section and a 3.7 gpa. I applied on a whim. I also have a couple years retail pharmacy experience and I'll have my BA in biology with undergraduate research.

I applied there. Graduated with a 3.4-3.5 depending on who looks at the transcript. B.S. in biochemistry. 95th percentile on the PCAT. Worked in a pharmacy for about a year now. 4 years college sports various volunteering activities. Heard its a tough school to get into.

I'm interviewing at UB in a few weeks. I have a BS, my GPA is 3.7, 95% PCAT, 6 mo retail rx exp, research experience, I'm a musician, was a tutor, no volunteerism, minimal participation in campus or other organizations. For only $500 I'll give you my PharmCAS password so you can read my essay and look at my transcript.
