Hey everybody,

I 've got 2 issues which irk me quite a bit.

1. Seeing the interview invites trickling in, recently I realized that I don't really know much about the programs I applied to. I don't quite understand how do I tell a community program from academic one? Number of fellowships they offer? Affiliation with medical school? If I go to a community program, will I get a fellowship later on? The catalogue is helpful, but does not clarify that well enough.

Here is a list of programs I applied to, and whose status I am unsure of. Please help me classify them as either community or academic centers.

NY:
St. Luke
Brooklyn

PA:
Thomas Jefferson
Drexel (formerly Hahnemann)
Temple
Philadelphia Hospital (associated w/ UPenn I believe)
Hershey's

NJ:
Robert Wood
St. Barnaba's

MA:
Baystate
University of Massachusetts at Worcester
Boston University
Tufts

VA:
Virginia at Charlottesville

Vermont:
University of Vermont

2. Another issue: several days ago I got my step 2 scores, and I got an improvement of 32 over my step 1 score 😀 Needless to say, I released them immediately. Is this really gonna affect my chances of getting an interview, if I sent all my materials in the first week of October?

Peace,
