Hi guys, so I am in my universiy Honors Program, and I don't have a very active role in it. I transferred into it a few years ago, thinking it would be an opportunity for me to grow as an individual, and push myself out of my comfort zone, but it has only involved a few additional classes w more work that I don't think are extraordinarily great or really benefit me. Is it really worth it? I would have to do a capstone and basically write a "thesis". What do you think? As a premed, does being in the Honors Program make THAT much of a difference? Please let me know what your thoughts are. 🙂

Would a thesis involve conducting research with faculty and having your own project? : D

I remember @gyngyn telling someone else on this forum that he could care less about UG honors colleges.

No one will care. Do it if you think you are interested in pursuing a thesis. Being associated with the honors college will not in and of itself help you get into medical school.
