Does anyone know anything of interest about the new Vet program at University of Antigua that allows you to transfer to Virginia Tech after 2 years? Then International forums only seem to talk about the medical schools.

Give people a little more time and they might have answer. However, since the program is pretty new, you might have better luck doing some online research. Here's the website for their program http://www.auamed.org/vetschool It explains things relatively well.

You may have better luck if you move this thread to the veterinary forum because you can reach current VMRCVM students who can probably provide greater insight about the transfer program...

Don't know too much about the school but i do remember overhearing something at my VMRCVM interview this year about it. Someone said that transferring is NOT 100% and it is only if someone in the current class drops out and a spot opens up. Not sure about anything else. The people at VMRCVM are really nice, i'm sure if you called their office and asked this question they could direct you to someone with more answers.

Like it has been said in previous threads.....I don't think it is wise to commit to going to a Carribean school solely with intentions of transfering to a US school because that is not always likely.

Thanks for your feedback. I apologize for being impatient - I'm new to the forum and to the whole Vet school application process
