I am interested in attending U of A for pharmacy. Has anyone had experiance with this school? How does the application process work. I have alot of information but I was suprised that not much is in here about it.

I go to the UA as an undergrad right now and am applying there too for pharm. I really like it here and have had some really great professors. Obviously I can't say much about the pharm school, but what I have heard has all been good. I am taking Biochem right now, which is part of the pharm school curriculum. The application is online right now and is due December 1. Basically its seven short essays, some biographical stuff, and LORs. If you have other Qs feel free to ask. I think there are a few UA pharm students on here but they don't come in much.

I go to the U of A and I think its a great school. Pharmacy wise I don't know how intense it is compared to other schools, 17-19 credit units per semester. I know a few pharmacy students and most of them say its pretty intense just studying and preping for tests. I have to warn you though that the U of A doesn't accept alot of out of state students. The stats for last years admission I believe was:

59 Students from the U of A
16 Students from within the state
16 Students from out of state
