Hello!
I would appreciate some help in making a decision. I am an international student from Canada.
Colorado
Pros:
- half-tuition scholarship
- higher rank
- (not sure if this is a pro- longitudinal clerkships and start clinical earlier)
Cons:
- farther away from family, would need to fly
- new curriculum, cannot predict the success of it
Illinois
Pros:
- closer to home
- larger city, more hospitals so possibly more opportunities( heard that it is a large medical hub)
Cons:
- cost
- lower rank
- not sure if large class size would make it harder to stand out
If anyone has any insights into any other pros or cons that would be much appreciated! Thanks
