Does anyone know about how long it took for them to hear from UH after submitting a complete application? I have had all my stuff in for a few weeks now and when I received an email with my status showing that I had everything in, they said not to be alarmed if it takes them a while to completely review a file, because it is a long process that takes time and so on... my question is how long? I realize I am a little late in the game, i'm just curious...

hey kristina. I know that its taking a couple people a while to get notice of an interview invite. Some of my friends are still taking a while to get an interview invite and they submitted a little less than a month ago. Don't worry tina, you'll get an interview. I don't know if they have anymore committee meetings before this semester is over, but you might end up getting an interview next semester. But hit me up on facebook if you come to houston for an interview.

Half the pool of women that are in OPT school that go here are either married or engaged............ so no luck for me... And you see the same 100 people for 4 years.

NOVA... you got a pool of opt students, dental, med, nursing, OT, PT, etc.............. in the same building... NEED I SAY MORE?!

haha im only partially kidding. No I've wanted to go to Florida. School here is nice academically and all, but the location is bad. I'd rather spend my next four years in florida, which is the place I'd love to practice seeing that there is a big retiring community in florida. OLD PEOPLE = Cataracts, Glaucoma, Diabetes...... Need I say more?!

that is a good point, well the old people part haha... What is the area like? I've never been to Houston, and I have heard some bad things about it...

Houston itself is not a bad city, but the school is located near the 3rd ward. When you come down here I can give you a tour of the third ward. Frenchie's makes awesome fried chicken.
