Hey, I actually never received an email but Mr. Bryan and the dentist that interviewed me actually both called me and told me that I had been accepted. I wonder why my email never came.

I got an acceptance this morning! I am soo excited! What an awesome school! Mr.Bryan was very nice. I just keep saying to myself that I can't believe I am accepted!! WAHOOOOO!!!!

UK is my top choice! As ilikecows said Mr. Bryan is great, so helpful and personable. He called me and left a voicemail congradulating me on my acceptance. Everyone there seems to be very helpful and freindly. just a great environment! I will definitly be there in the fall.

UK is my top choice too. I was selected for the alternate list. Apparently it is unranked...I wonder how people are selected from it. Anyone know?

I got placed on the "Hold" list at UK. I'm wondering if this is the same thing as the alternate list or not? I'm guessing it is. Any idea of how many get off it?

Well in my email it talks about being selected for the alternate list and doesnt mention anything about being "on hold"...so I'm not sure if they are the same thing. I'm wondering if people ever actually make it off the alternate list/on hold - anyone know????

Mine mentions nothing about the alternate list...which is what had me confused. The title reads: "HOLD - committee". It says they temporarily decided to place my application in the hold category. I'm wondering if this is good or bad?? Obviously, not as good as acceptance. But a little better chance than alternate?

I think I'm in this category until semester grades come in. They said it was not uncommon to be placed here pending receipt of test scores, grades in progress, or eval letters.

I'd say they'll make a final decision to waitlist, accept, or reject when grades come in this semester. Mine is a special situation, in which I did good in college my first 2 years but poorly last year. My GPA and DATs are where they should be for the school, but I think given that they see no improvement since grades dropped last year, they're waiting for December grades to make a final call. Anyone think this could be reasonable?

I got a phone call that night from a Dr. at the school as well as an e-mail at like 12:01am. uk is my first choice and i'm so relieved to have finally gotten in to uk. has anyone already sent in their deposits or received thier packets?

I have not recieved the packet yet or paid the deposit.
