University of Maryland Interview Housing?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Nope and most hotels in the area are booked. Yay!!

BTW, if my flight's at 5:50 PM from BWI, will I be okay with traffic out of Baltimore?

are you sure? how is it possible that all the hotels are booked....

and can't help you with the time....i'm taking the train

Well the top three choices on their webpage and the top two choices according to Google maps are booked for Oct 9th as of yesterday. I finally got in at Hampton Inn - Camden Yards for $149 using the U. of Maryland discount.

Hopefully you have more luck!

Hmm, my interview's at the end of october, but I better try to reserve a spot in a hotel quick, if there even are any.

Also, for the interview invite email we got, are we just supposed to copy and paste the few lines about our name/amcas number/whether we're attending and paste it into a new email and type our responses in? I'm slightly confused.

I just copied and pasted the small section that they wanted back.

Good luck getting a close hotel. I'm sure that prime spots will be left if you book soon.

Just booked tonight actually. They had a nonsmoking room for $119 (king size bed, no singles available), plus tax. So it comes to around $135 or something, plus $18 a day to park . . . but the Maryland email said they offer parking on campus (I guess it's on campus) for $12 a day . . . I'm staying in the Holiday Inn which is like 350 feet from the campus, so parking either place would be fine for me. Wonder if it's worth it to save 6 bucks a day and park in the lot on campus.
