If anyone has been interviewed at University of Maryland, or is a current student there, do you mind sharing some more information on how the interview process is.
I have an interview coming up and I would really appreciate any kind of feedback.
Thank you!

Hi I interviewed here and was recently accepted. Your day goes like this:

1. Presentation on the school, the area, curriculum, etc.
2. Financial aid presentation
3. Q&A with current students + lunch

Afterwards, interviews begin and are staggered with a tour of a school and a technology presentation. i.e. you are grouped with others who have the same interview time as you, and may be taken out of the tour to conduct your interview, then return to finish. As such, some people immediately interviewed after lunch, while others interviewed hours later after the school tour and presentation.

After all interviews, current students take you on a tour of the entire campus, and then you return for a final wrap-up.

In my experience, the interview day was relaxed. The actual interview is conducted with one faculty member and one current student. You should be prepared to know your application thoroughly. If you can easily turn questions into conversation topics, you will be set.
