I'm new to this forum and tried to search for info on the University of Maryland, but didn't have much success. Does anyone have info on the program (reputation, resident satisfaction, etc)? I've heard people buzz about Shock Trauma. Thanks for your input!

Oops, never mind, I did a search initially only using "University of Maryland" but forgot to examine all the permutations: "UMD", "Maryland", "Shock Trauma", etc. where several people have posted lots of good info, incl QuinnNSU and Pelivar (to name a few). Thanks!

No problem. Welcome to the forums!

I rotated at UMD as a 4th year and loved it. Was going to rank it #1 until I found out USF opened a new program, hence I ranked USF #1 and UMD #2. I wouldn't have minded if I had matched at Maryland, though, it really is a strong program.
