New director of admissions announced
The Office of Student Programs of the Medical School is pleased to announce that Robert Ruiz has accepted the position of director of admissions, replacing Katie (Horne) McGrath. He is currently the vice president for application services of the American Association of Osteopathic Medical Colleges in Washington DC. Robert received his undergraduate degree from Adrian College and a Master's degree in sociology from the University of Michigan. He previously served as a regional director in admissions at Tulane University and then as the director of admissions and student recruitment at the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He will begin his appointment on July 8, 2004.
