Did any body get any interview from university of minnesota. Any idea when do they start inviting candidates for interview and what are their selection criteria. Any information will be appreciated.

I got call from jennet regarding interview on nov 11, she asked me for oct 21st but on that day I already have interview at UOP, so I told her to reschedule the date and she gave me that date, but I am wondering that because I requested her to reschedule the date is it like it makes my negative impression on her, and it will affect me

I am very eager to attend interview over there but I am nervous about this thing what I should do now?
plz give me some suggestion, is it like that if you get interview in last date it will decrease yr chance to get in?

anybody who got interview over there know how many students they call for an interview in one day?

Did they tell you why? Did you apply late? What are your stats like.
Of course, you do not have to reply to these questions if you do not want to.

She had asked me the same thing ,but I told her that those markssheet are the only things that I have and that my college will not issue another one on immediate notice.So she replied that its O.K and that the marks sheets and license and degree certificates are sufficient and that my application process is complete.

no...nothing...I just received a mail in 1st or 2nd week of september.....nothing was mentioned on it....i guess someone else also got the same kind of letter...I read it in the post above..!!!....

sorry for the delay in reply.....my interview went pretty well.Its very relaxing ...total personal interview.Dont worry ...just try to be yourself. The interviewers,Dr.Berthold and Janet are very nice and make you feel veyr comfortable.
I inetrviewed with three of them individually for about 15-20 mins each.Questions were totally personal related to your family,the school you graduated from ,your native place and country,ur likes and dislikes, and so........Dr.Berthold will give detailed information of the school,city and the state.Its pretty interesting stuff.
Just be yourself and dont BS....and try to talk as slow and clearly as possible.they give you ample time to explain .

Hi please dont get dejected. Even i got a similar letter from Dr. Berthold. It means that although your application package was good and competitive but probably there were applicants who had slightly better profile than yours. if anybody cancels their appointment or seat your application would move to the interviewing category. All the very best... 👍

It was a great day. I got a good experience. Interviewers were very nice and Dr. Berthold's presentation was very informative. I must say its a damn cold place.

Nope i m yet to hear back from them. They told us that they'd be deciding after thanksgiving (anytime now) and let us know our status by Dec 1st week max.
What did they tell u ?

Anyways, they have 10 spots (correct me if m wrong!). I assume that UMinn has started mailing results as I received my rejection letter previous week.
