Hey. I am new to this newsgroup. I really liked it , i got so much information by reading all messages. Hey any one has idea about
Advance standing program for uni . of Pitsburgh.

please let me know if any one knows about it.

Yes, U Pitt has advanced standing program and it is a 2 year one.you need to pass Part 1 and part 2 of NDBE to apply there.TOEFL is also required.
then there is an interview process with a preclinical test.
Application deadline is Nov 15th.
They have detailed information in their website.

Thanks for Reply dentek2. I also want to ask that they have toefl requirement 250. I have 240. Most of the east cost uni has requirment of 250 like Boston uni, tufts, Upenn. Will they cosider my score or i have to rewrite the toefl. I have applied in all of them but i am not sure what they will reply me just because of toefl. I also cleared part-I 89% part-2 79% & GPA 3.82. SO any one here guide me that do i have to Rewrite toefl for getting 250. & is it a wise step because if i get less then 240 then my score wil be low................ please reply me.

I don't really know how much weithg do the schools place on TOEFL scores, BUT you are 10 points BELOW their minimum. That's a lot I think. Maybe you should take the exam again, but first make sure you are better prepared. Do a search on the internet and on this forum, this topic has been discussed before, so you'll probably be able to find some tips as to how perform better in the TOEFL.

You should also call the schools and ask them if they will even look at your application with a 240 in your TOEFL. Maybe they'll say that's ok, and will accept to review it.
