It's my hometown program. It seems like they are too focused in mal heme and BMT (never heard a discussion of benign heme among the fellows). Solids seems like it's too outpatient and weak. Is this the norm with heme/onc programs? Are solids managed by their respective subspecialties (GI, Uro, OB/GYN)? I want PP and a solid well-rounded education.

Solid tumor should be outpatient. If your solid tumor experience is largely inpatient, it means you're either a sarcoma center or doing it wrong.

To answer your original question, if it gets you a completed fellowship and a job after graduation, it's strong enough. But nobody ever talks about it outside of the island.
