Hey,
I'm currently a sophomore at USC, and I've run into a crappy situation.
I'm currently completing my last two prereq's this semester. I have a 3.51 GPA. I scored 98% on PCAT. I'm nationally certified as a tech. I have 2 years experience at CVS as a tech, and I submitted my pharmacy application a little over a week ago.
Here's the problem...
USC used to use your email with @mailbox.sc.edu OR @webmail.sc.edu. When I submitted my application, I used @webmail.sc.edu. However, evidently a day or two before I submitted the thing, USC changed their e-mail system, and it only accepts @mailbox.sc.edu ..... So I never got the emails I was supposed to get after submitting my application.
I called the lady in charge of admissions, and I gave her an alternate email address to change on my application. She said she changed it, and she called back about an hour later saying the email was returned. I told her to try again, and about 20 minutes later, I received an email from her.
However, I'm not sure it's fixed for any automatic emails sent from the university. I haven't received any emails since, and I'm not sure whether I should have or not. Does anybody know? Also, when South Carolina's Pharmacy School contacts you for an interview, do they call you, email you, or send you a letter?
Thanks for any help!!!
