I noticed that the tuition here is very cheap. Is there any reason for this? Also does anyone know anything about this school besides what is in on their web page and the AASDAS guide? I may apply here (Ohio resident)

My guess is that the tuition is cheap due to state subsidies.

I did a tour there. They pretty much only accept in state applicants or applicants that went to Tennessee for undergrad.

They also seem to designate about 30 or so seats for Arkansas residents (Arkansas has no dental school so there's some reciprocity agreement), so the OOS numbers will seem inflated.

Incoming D1 at UTHSC here. Just figured out the loan situation recently, so I know the in state tuition this year is $29,016 and the OOS tuition is about $69,000. However, that doesn't include the other college fees, and the dental kit. I took out about 45,000 to just cover the cost of school as an in state student. The total cost of school for an OOS student would be about $87,000, not including living expenses. Obviously, it's expensive for out of state students, but I've heard that some D2's switch to in state residency by buying a house or marrying someone who has a job in Tennessee.

You're right, but they are increasing their class size to 100 over the next year or two. There are 46 out of state students in the incoming D1 class, 24 are from Arkansas and 22 from states across the US.

Shoot well now i need another dental school to apply to. Any suggestions? (Ohio resident, excellent stats)
