Does any one have any information/advice for an interview at U of TN?

I believ ut is very behind this year.

I say this because my friend and I have not received interview invites, and we are some strong, in state candidates.

If not me at least my bro should have gotten one. He's a 4.0 with every ec imaginable and a 22 (98.9%) DAT.

So I wouldn't worry.

Yea I think the passing of Dr. Coleman has had a big effect on their application process. Who knows whats going on over there😕

Just a comment about UT: it is a shame for the students there that they lost Dean Gilpatrick to Midwestern. He has a great philosophy about dental school and seems he's finally getting a chance to apply his new ideas in a fresh setting. I guess it is Midwestern's gain.

i interviewed there in 2008, bad experience. terrible admissions process, interview, application selection criteria....

so no good advice from me except 3.75+ gpa will help.

yes he did. and i agree, their application process and office is the most unprofessional and straight ghetto ive experienced on my journey to dental school. dont let it discourage anyone though, the faculty is world class.

The clinics and Sim Lab are beautiful too. When I interviewed there about a month ago, I was very impressed with the facilities.

Does anyone know if they contact applicants about acceptances on Dec. 1? Email, phone call, or snail mail? Good luck to everyone applying!
