Hi everyone,
I have a interview at UofT and I've been looking all over the web for the types of questions they ask. Does anyone know where specific questions are posted? Thanks.

Hey bdub,

was wondering if anyone knows anything about the personality test?

I also have an interview at U of T. Just wondering if anyone heard from Western? Or are they going to wait until the last possible day of March to let us know?

Best of Luck I hope we all get in this year!

Yea I have. Are you interviewing this weekend?

Is anyone interviewing at Western this weekend? Also, what sort of questions do they ask and how can I best prepare?

I didn't realize that US applicants apply to U of T. If you had an interview, is there any way I can know your stats? I really want to go to U of T, but don't know if I'm competitive enough and don't want to waste the $250 application fee if I have no chance of getting into the school. My GPA is 3.6-3.7 (depending on how you calculate it) and my DAT score is 23AA (I forgot my scores for the PAT and other sections, but I remember they were all over 20). Erhm, if I were to apply, I'd be classified as an out-of-province Canadian.

Average GPA for 2010-2011 interviewees was 3.85 on the OMSAS scale.

Keep in mind they drop your lowest year as long as it is not the most recently completed year of study. If you have a low year which is bringing down your GPA, that could boost you. For example, I was rejected last year with a 3.78 but this year my lowest year will be dropped (since I've graduated) and I'll go up to a 3.87.

Also, the OMSAS scale lowers your GPA significantly compared to how AADSAS calculates your GPA. An A is anywhere from 3.7-3.9. Rarely is it a 4.0. Also U of T probably mostly accepts in province, but I mean, it's worth a shot? Your DAT scores are reallly good, but I don't think Canadian schools place as great an emphasis on DAT as the US schools. I would see what your GPA is using the OMSAS scale http://www.ouac.on.ca/docs/omsas/c_omsas_b.pdf and then go from there. If you have a masters degree, you might have a better chance because last I looked around half the matriculated students had masters degrees.

🙁 Thanks for the responses. I kinda knew I wouldn't have a chance, but just wanted to make sure. Oh well...

I have an interview at U of T and I would appreciate any help I can get

Eh? Applications close in December. The November DAT hasn't happened yet. Most people haven't applied. How on earth do you have an interview? Unless this is for the IDAPP program, in which case you're probably asking in the wrong place.

I am an American and was accepted to UofT this past interview cycle. You definitely have a chance. Give it a shot!
