  1. Pre-Pharmacy
Okay so this is the number one school on my list and i was wondering how tough it is to be considered competitive for a school like this. Not sure how old this data is but i doubt its change much.
ADMISSION CRITERIA
-min cumulative gpa of 2.5 in all prer-reqs
-min of 50% on pcat
Admission averages
- average gpa of those accepted 3.5
- aver pcat of those accepted 90-94%
- 50 applicants chosen from an average of 200 , favor given to utah residents ( which i am)

So as far as a tough pharmacy schools go, would this be one? or are those stats pretty much unanimous for pharmacy schools?

The Dean at the U came down to my college (Dixie College) and brought one of the adcom members with him. They told us that only half of those that apply meet the minimum requirements and that they put more emphasis on things like leadership experience, community service, and pharmacy experience. They said that they accept students every semester that have GPA's as low as 3.0 and 65 on the PCAT. They seemed very reasonable and if I don't get into a school this year, I will apply for them next year. You have to have all but 3 prerequisite classes finished by the end of the fall semester. Anyway, it is a good school and hopefully you will get in.
