I've searched through the threads in hope of finding opinions on UW's path program but have turned up surprisingly little. Many posts about Wash U but few posts about U Wash. Just wondering whether any of you have any opinions on this program, especially if you interviewed there.

I am a 3rd year soon to be a 4th year and am looking at different residency programs. Clinical medicine hasn't turned out to be what I thought it would be, a common sentiment on this forum.

I interviewed there and loved it. Until the very last minute, I had a three-way tie for #1 on my ROL, and it was one of them. The residents were happy, talented, fun, and had many interests outside medicine, the research funding is amazing but the clinical training is too, the faculty were cool and laid back, there are several different clinical sites (something I wanted), Seattle rocks (lifestyle compatible with my interests, and very affordable), I could go on and on. Feel free to PM me for more info if you like, but definitely check it out and formulate an opinion for yourself because everybody is looking for something slightly different, and will have a slightly different impression on interview day.
