Not yet. Should be this week or next based on last year and their admissions website.

Carson -
Hmm, I don't see a decision posted on mine. What page was it on when you clicked into your account?

I clicked "status" and it said:
"Status: Offer"
and options to accept or decline

Mine was listed under status as well. It's possible you could be on the wait list if nothing is listed at all.

thanks for the info you guys. Congrats! My coworkers said they did it in waves last year so I guess there is no way to speculate. Accepted at Regis and UPS, so I guess it doesn't matter in proportion to the anxiety I'm placing on it 🙂 Good luck next year, wherever you decide!

Did you get an email that a decision had been posted or do we just need to keep checking?

No email. I called Laura the other day to ask my status and later found it online as well.

woohoo check your emails! got my rejection as expected!

Yup, got my rejection e-mail too 🙁
It was one of the better written rejection e-mails.. lol..

Before you got your result, did your portal status say "submitted"? Mine still simply says "submitted" and I'm worried that there was something wrong or missing from my application.

Mine still says submitted also...I e-mailed the admissions person, and she said that we should hear by the end of the week. If not, we should contact them.

I just got my rejection email from UW; and I am devastated. What do they look for in an applicant!!!??? Not to sound egotistical but my GRE scores are above their average and my GPA well above, at cumm: 3.89 and pre-req:3.84 with many diverse observation settings, what I thought were excellent letters of recommendation, and many activities in college. I would have never thought in a million years that I might not go to PT school in the fall with rejections from UPS, UW and a waitlist from EWU. And the out of state argument cannot be really made as I am from Washington! Holy COW I am stressing....

That is ridiculous. I don't see how they could reject such a qualified candidate!!! 😡

Now I just have to patiently wait for my rejection to come. 🙁

I really cannot comment on your situation Therapitize, you may have a better essay than I did or whatever. I would keep your hopes up, I just was awe-struck that I was not even given a wait-list. Not to sound arrogant, but I definitely would have thought I was in the top-100 at least for the applicant pool for an acceptance/wait-list. I might have made an error somewhere in my application , but who knows. They won't tell me anything related to the decision until after April 1st. What really bothers me though is that the rejection was not even written by the program, it was an incredibly generic email "written by" the Dean of Students, that is most likely used as a common template for all programs. Very unprofessional in my opinion.

Just received my email from UW. I was not recommended for admission, too bad. Congrats to everyone with an acceptance!

PT34, I know how frustrating being rejected from all the schools you applied to can be. I was in your situation last year. I applied to both UW and EWU. I was rejected from UW and also waitlisted at EWU last year. I got an acceptance call from them in late June. There is still hope for you to attend PT school this year! It seems that many students get into PT programs off the waitlists.

I hope that helps you at least a tiny bit.

Still have not heard back. Does that mean I should contact them? Also, my status is still submitted.

Definitely shoot them an email if you haven't heard back yet. My letter got lost in the mail but they let me know I was an alternate via email within like 3 hours of emailing and my status on the little login portal thing still says submitted and paid so that wasn't really much help haha.

Waitlisted, forgot I put my parents address as permanent because I was moving between fall and spring.

Just wondering, did they tell everyone on the alternate list to wait until March 20th to ask for an update? And has anyone pretty high on the list heard any news yet?

Hey all those UW waitlist peeps:
I just spoke with Laura to see where they are at on the waitlist. She told me that unlike the past 5 years, this year almost everyone accepted their spot in the class. So, as of this morning they were at #8 on the waitlist trying to fill one spot and she said that spot has actually just been filled. She did say that they continue contacting waitlisters when needed even into September and that there is some shuffling around that may likely happen in the summer. But all in all it doesn't sound like they're going to be contacting a large amount of people from the waitlist.
