Hello all,

I'm sorry if this has already or is common knowledge for most but I didn't have any luck in my own research for an answer to this.

Given that DO applicants won't benefit from grade replacement anymore, how would I average my GPA if my University does grade replacement? For example I got a D in biology my first semester of freshman year and retook it last semester and received an A. My transcript shows that I was in biology during my first semester but it no longer lists a grade for that semester because I retook the class. It only shows that I received an A for my most recent take.

You may not have to enter it if it isn't on your transcripts but the general rule of thumb is that if you took it for credits, it counts. I would contact AACOMA about this
