yeah, so in the past this has served as their interview. then if they like you, they’ll invite you to their campus for an information session. that info session is NOT an interview, just a tour and Q&A panel where they try to sell themselves to YOU.

this is what i’ve gathered from two current students i know who attend!
 
I applied pretty early, everything verified and under review since mid July. I have not received an invitation for a Kira assessment. Should I be worried? I mean I don’t think that they would send them out all at once..?

I received an invite to attend an on-campus visit today. Earliest date is 9/20.
 
I have not gotten a confirmation email from UNLV and I submitted my application to them a few days ago. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a fee?

Yes there is a fee. It took around 8 days for them to send me an email with a link to activate my account and pay the fee. If you want, you can try calling them and ask if there is a way to pay prior to receiving a confirmation email so that you can at least get your application looked faster because they don't start reviewing applications until you pay the fee. Just give it some time, I applied early June which is maybe why they got back to me relatively quickly but since they are a little busy with applications it might take a little longer. But anyway, it never hurts to call and confirm everything with the office of admissions. I hope this helps!

Thank you! I still haven't gotten the email. I'll wait till next week and hopefully will get one!
 
How long does it take after the interview to get invited to visit the school?
 
I applied September 9th and still have not gotten a conformation email.
 
Just got invited to visit the school. Finished Kira assessment Sept. 16th, invited Oct.1st
 
Anyone submit early July and still not even receive Kira invite? Its frustrating how people have submitted way later and already gotten Kira + interviewed...

Have you contacted them and asked why this is? I asked them and posted a thread on their response, you should read it. I'm not sure if this is their way of "kindly" rejecting people or if my application is bugged in their system and its getting skipped over.

Anyone else still haven't heard back after sending in application fee?
 
I did my in person visit on 11/ 1 and have not gotten a call today, how worried should I be?
 
couldn’t help but stop by the thread. younger bro applied, kira on 9/14, in-person visit on 11/1, got accepted this morning (8/9am-ish)! Good luck to everyone still waiting in this cycle!
 
App submitted 10/1, Kira received 10/23, info session invite 10/30, info session attended 11/15, accepted 12/13 @ 12:30pm pst. AA: 21 GPA: 3.64. Best of luck to everyone else and congrats if you received an acceptance today!

Just got a kira i was wondering how many questions i should expect?
 
Has anyone gotten acceptances after 12/13? I went to the info-session pre-dec and haven't heard back
