Hi all,

For those that applied to UNLV, please respond when you receive an invite for an interview. I know that the first round of invites will happen within the next weeks ending December. Good luck all 🙂

Just got an interview invite. I was told that the interview invites from December had to accept or decline by the end of today. Depending where you are on the alternative list, you may get an invite soon 🙂 . Good luck
 
Is anyone driving to UNLV from California? It is probably best to arrive thursday night
 
I just finished my interview on the 8th. Did they let us know by when they would be sending out acceptance offers?

Supposedly acceptance offers go out today, maybe throughout the week, but I haven’t heard of anyone getting accepted yet. If anyone does get accepted today, please share!
 
I just got my acceptance email! I was also offered a scholarship!! I'm beyond excited!

Thank you! I am not a Nevada resident and here are my stats:

University: Grand Canyon University
Major: Bio Pre-PT
Overall GPA: 3.98
Pre-Req GPA: 3.96 ish
GRE: 159 V, 159 Q, 4.5 W

Extracurriculars/Experiences: Treasurer for Pre-PT Club, Student Leader (Intramural Site Supervisor), Student Worker (Intramural referee and Rec Center receptionist), Member of NSCS and Alpha Chi honor societies, Honors College Student, Student Athlete for two years, Volunteer for food bank and Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, President's List all 4 years

Volunteer Hours: Outpatient Orthopedic - 500 hours (worked as a tech), Different Outpatient Orthopedic - 20 hours, Inpatient SNF- 20 hours

LORs: Two from PTs I worked with, one from Exercise Physiology professor, one from current employer

Also, by any chance is there a Kristina on these forums (famous for having millions of youtube likes lol) ? I met you on interview day and hope you got in too!

I just declined my position yesterday so I'm glad you got in!

Actually I'm somewhat taking a risk. I chose to attend Western because it was a fall start program and I could live at home. My dream school is the University of Washington though so I chose Western because I wanna give myself as much time as possible to potentially hear back from UW since im on the waitlist. Also living with parents mean I dont need to worry about housing in the meantime. I hope the choice pays off because I really like UNLVs program.
