Has anyone interviewed at UNLV yet? I have one coming up, and I looked on the interview feedback form and there's only one response, but it's not too helpful.

Thanks!

PM me when your interview is schedule. I'm going there too.

So, you're saying that you didn't like my interview feedback?

My interview was last year, but I'll share all I know if you'd like.

Gavin, I would definately like.

Anyone with an UNLV interview, how far out is UNLV scheduling right now?

I scheduled an interview with UNLV about 2-3 weeks ago and the soonest I could get in was Dec. 5th.

I am set for Jan 16 as well.

Does anybody know if UNLV typically gives acceptances on the spot after Dec1?

Shawn one,

I would think that would be the case, but I don't know how many people they accept during the first round of acceptances on Dec. 1st. If they have 80 in each class ( random number ), and they accept 80 on the 1st of Dec., then they will have to wait till about mid Jan. You may find out at your interview since it is then. Good luck

Last year they were VERY staunch about going by deadlines they had set.

That is, a first round of acceptances on Dec 1., next round on January 15, next on February 15, etc.

I know this because although I interviewed in October (on the first possible day) I didn't get in until later.

I would say then: NO acceptances on the spot. They are waiting to see how many of that first group pay their deposits.

ShawnOne. I called UNLV last week, and my schedule is 12/12. When is yours? Hope I can meet you there.

Gret,

I am going to UNLV January 16 2004. I am going with my fiance and making it a mini vacation (same with NYU next week).

Good luck on your interview. I just sent you a PM.

ADDED:

your mailbox is full grettlin

Every acceptance is on case-by-case basis. There are some that don't get accepted until the very last day of accepance. I am currently a 2nd year dental student at UNLV and got accepted after 2-3 weeks later. Other factor apply for early acceptance, such as, being a Nevada resident, early application completion, and chance. I hope everything works out with all of you and take care.
