Congrats! I got mine last week for the 4th of October 😀.by email this morning
Got my interview invite today via email. To say the least I was shocked to get it. I emailied them about a month ago making sure everything was going smoothly and they emailed me back saying that they would get back to me in a week. After two weeks of not getting anything I just figured they were going to reject me... but surprisingly they're going to give me a chance. I'm really excited about this one. Jan 31 interview! Anyone else get an invite today?
How late you get your interview has to do both with how strong your application is and how early you submitted.airsimon, I just got an interview invite today for Jan 31st as well. I was curious to see if you or anyone had heard the probability of getting acepted with a post-Dec interview.

Honestly, I was not expecting to get an interview from UNLV at all. When i emailed them about my 18 on the DAT, they said I should probably retake since they want at least a 20. My file was complete at the end of August (even though my AADSAS was submitted late May). I waited for a Dentist LOR and my DAT scores to be sent out.
I'm sure I'm not a first choice for them, or else I would have gotten an earlier interview, but I'm just excited I got one. They way I look at it, is I'm probably interviewing for a waitlist spot. But that's OK... if i can slip in off the waitlist I'd do it. UNLV is my first choice.
really? but why would they invite ppl that they didn't seriously think they could accept? do schools really just keep interviwing to fill up their wait list?
I hope not because I am flying across the country and I hope it hold more of a chance then for a waitlist spot, don't get me wrong I just want to be a dentist at the end and don't care how too.
I just really hope that the outcome looks more favorable because everyone puts such a negative connotation with waitlist spot. What do you guys think?
is there any way to confirm this other than just call and try to bump up the interview date so that its not in the waitlist date? anyone know how full unlv is so far based on those that have accepted and interviewd?
also, for those of you that few across the country for unlv any travel suggestions not mentioned in the interview feedback on where to stay and such?
as mentioned in another thread, even on the days that people have cancelled interviews, admissions people aren't opening those dates to move up later interviews. Any interview that you get there will still technically put you in the running for a spot (they should keep the class partially open until all interviews are completed)
