Hi, guys and girls

I have a question about the equation which UNLV uses to select their students.
------------------------------------------------
PART 1
((CUM GPA + SCI GPA)/8)x(RC/30)x((BIO+QR+OCHEM)/90)x75=A
------------------------------------------------

The equation above lacks PAT and GenChem...
UNLV doesn't really care about the two sections?
Or is it different in real world?

Thanks

Basically. They found those sections in the equation correlated with performance at UNLV (GPA and NBDE I).

Schools all have their own method of doing things. The equation stuff seems silly to me. Not sure what they see in QR. But whatever.

I see. . . Thx Jeffity

I heard if you get over 55, you are pretty much in.
I was simulating my chances with the formula below and the other one related to interview score which has maximum score of 25.
Some said if you get 1~2 questions wrong, you get around 25~26, and I just assumed all my science scores to be 22 below.

(4+4/8)(RC let's say I get 20/30)(Bio 22+ QR22 + OCHEM 22/90)*75= 36.6

To me it seems like it's extremely hard to get into UNLV even with good scores on DAT.
22 in science section is over 90% according to what I've seen.
There's no way to get into UNLV unless you do pretty damn well on the interview.

Is it really that competitive to get into UNLV even with over 20s on DAT?
