UNLV Supplemental Question - Weird IT thing - Anyone else?

I put in my AADSAS and supplemental to UNLV, paid my fees, etc. The supplemental application didn't show up in the AADSAS status tab, but it's only been about a week and I'm busy with a pretty hectic O-chem class right now that finishes up Friday. I have more pressing priorities and put looking into my status on the back burner.

Yesterday I got two e-mails from UNLV, I checked them today and they were a student ID and log on password. I have no idea why I got these. This is the actual student portal of UNLV which is separate from the DDS application website.

Has anyone else gotten an email from IT with a student login ID and PW?

Completely normal. If memory serves me right, that portal is for the secondary application. This was the case for me last cycle.

I already submitted my secondary and paid my fees directly to the dental college. There's a separate website just for dental applicants. They sent me a login ID for the student center where you enroll in classes and order transcripts and stuff like that. They gave me a student ID number that's different from my login at the dental secondary application website. I can still login into my UNLV secondary application and view it, but cannot edit it because I already submitted it and paid and now it's locked.

God I wish. I know they are supposed to be veteran friendly, but I don't think they would make such a decision without an interview. I was just wondering if this was system glitch or if this is standard for all applicants for some reason.

Call and ask tomorrow morning - be like "I'm wondering when I get my welcome packet, considering that I've already gotten a student ID and all!"

Ahh, my mistake I was thinking of the secondary portion. But looking back through my emails the same thing happened to me last year, so I don't think it's a mistake.

Yeah everyone gets that secondary login. There’s actually a section on that website where it shows your admission status.

on the grad rebel gateway it shows my application is under review, on aadsas it says app complete but on the new login that they sent yesterday it said my application is incomplete, did this happen to anyone?

Yes, same here. This happened to everyone last year as well and they said to ignore the app incomplete status on the student center website.
