The tuition for 2011-2011 UNLV school of dental medicine is up in their website. There is Whopping 10.5% increase in tuition and fees for this year compare to year 2010-2011. I am assuming this is due to the budget cuts and ...

Question to those who are attending UNLV right now:
Were you told that there will be another 10+ % tuition increase the following years as well ? Or will be like any other school which usually have a 3-5% raise in their tuition from year to year.

Thank you

** I think I was told about the 3-5% increase every year when I was at NYU but can not find it in the document they sent me. Can anyone else also verify that .

Hmm, so how much will tuition be a year including living expenses and such? Because schools like Tufts, BU, Midwestern are all almost 100k a year so if UNLV is around that price, I wouldn't really consider tuition as a deciding factor.

I was told by Dr. Ancajas it would be ~3% for this year and next. I asked if she was sure, and she said "100% sure" and that the board had already approved it. Sorry to those who were told the same.

It depends. If you are not International student, then still it will be cheaper since you can get Nevada residency after the first year.

How positive are you on that? I interviewed there 2 cycles ago and they gave us a piece of paper stating how we can obtain residency, but non of them looked like it works for students. I don't remember if they also said yes or no if we can get in state tuition after the first year. I have to dig up my notes from that interview.
