How about we start a First Aid 2009 errata? might as well before the official one comes out, which unfortunately, will be too late for me. So please add things as you go through it and it would be a huge help for a lot of people.

as mentioned in an earlier thread, there is an error on

page 439: AT II -> inc Na and water excretion
correction: dec Na excretion (I believe)

amazing how many errors from last year's book are still in this year's book. there are a lot of great changes, but not fixing the known errors is simply not rational. if you want more details on these errors, look at the official 2008 errata as i don't feel like typing out everything

p83 - adherens
p87 - constitutional
p91 - remove alpha-1 antitrypsin
p197 - light, heavy reversed on diagram
p277 - 21-hydroxylase
p339 - diffuse large b cell most common
p368 - hyperinsulinemia
p399 - add the word "defective"
p449 - PO4 3- (not 2-)
image 44 - labels wrong (i.e. not pictured, then A, then B)

.... well,... where is that dude that promised that this year it will all be different....?

Check out the lesion on p.401 Lesion #6 should extend further or the visual defect re-named.

Is the entire heme synthesis section missing? in the 2009 index it says that it should be on pg 99. in fa 2008 it is on pg 111

the diagram on 197 is right in the 09, they must have had the artist put the light chain below the heavy chain
