I am just wondering how many credits does the humanities/ social science course have to be? How many credits? thanks.

Must be university level
Minimum of two terms/semesters
Courses can be introductory or advanced level
Can combine one term/semester of Humanities with one term/semester of Social Sciences, or two terms/semesters in the same discipline or subject area
Humanities courses include, but are not limited to:
History
Religion
Philosophy
Classics
Music
Languages
Literature
Social Sciences courses include, but are not limited to:
Economics
Sociology
Political Science
Psychology (Introductory only)
Anthropology (provided it is not classified as a Physical Sciences course)
Geography (provided it is not classified as a Physical Sciences course)

A total of 1.0 credit. So in UofT standards, it can be two 0.5 credits put together or 1.0 credit. 0.5 credit = one semester/one term while 1.0 credit = two semesters or one full school year

thanks for that but do you know how that translates in york university?
