Hello

I would like to share info on UOP applications, do's and don'ts,prep for practical exam and all the process involved in it.

Did u send already,I am still stuck with statement for caapid. Did you send documents to UOP first or completed CAAPID?

I received Application Completion email from Mr. Warren Chang on July 15th evening. It lists all the documents and corresponding status and notes with them in a tabular format. I must say..very impressive.

Good luck to all of you, i just turned evrything in...hopefuly i should recieve completion soon...and then i join the waiting game too...

i ve aplied as well..
any ideas about what d day is like and what do they make you pay for the bench exam?

Me too ... I had the delivery report confirmation from post office on 22nd july.... but never got any mail from the university ..i am kinda freaking out...

I will say only one thing to every one. please work hard on Bench test for this college because they do consider a lot before selecting candidates now a days as NBDE part 1 is becoming second main choice than the hand skills.

Unfortunately I am accepted in different school but I have practiced a lot for bench test so please feel free to ask me any question or suggestion. PM me anytime

My packet reached there on one monday-- they replied my application complete on friday of the same week.

They send weekly emails only on Fridays, confirming the receipt of any missing documents received by the IDS Office from Monday to Thursday. They recommend to check your email on Friday after 5pm (Pacific Time). If your documents reach the IDS Office on a Friday, they will be confirmed in the following Friday’s email.
 
Mine reached there on 21st,thursday and I haven't got an e-mail yet. wonder what's happening. Last week when I e-mailed them they said that it would come in the next set.And that Friday is over too.. It's already Tuesday..

Well, its close to deadline; they might be very busy at this time.
 
And mine reached there on 22nd... havent heard from them either... one friday has passed... i am quite worried... but may be what dingash said is right...it must be coz of the deadline rush...

I mailed my documents on Jul 14th and have not received any confirmation as yet of today-Aug 2nd.My documents would have reached them on Jul 15th at the latest.Concerned,I spoke to Mr.Warren Chang who said due to the high volume of applications,I would receive a confirmation mail about receipt of documents only after the deadline-Aug 12th.He was responsive and nice but told me that,that is how it will be, as things stand.

Dingash applied quite early in the cycle.Dingash,I have a question-did you get two mails,one about receipt and another about application complete status?I was just thinking if it is one mail, probably it will take longer because they will need to check if all the documents are there or not.
 
i applied to UOP too... my application is complete and now just hoping and waiting for the interview for the bench test. BombayBDS, how is the interview orientation menu being impressive?
 
Yup just recieved a mail from him .. According to him due to 575 + ( :O ) applications , he cannot afford to send the mails , and his priority is to complile the applications first. So according to him , confirmatory mails would only be sent 2 weeks after the deadline..So i conclude that the wait would be a long one.. and if someone missed a document , there would be no second chance to correct the mistake 🙂 .. i just hope we all did fine..

there are about 10 more days before deadline. The final number might roar up to 700+

the ratio will be 22:575+ (or more)

wow.. ratio 22:575+.. UOP is way too competitive!!!
 
does anyonw know the average stats of UOP admission last year?
 
i just received an email from Mr.Chang today which says a final application status will be sent to ALL applicants on 31st august, and your interview calls (invitations or rejection) will be emailed to you( all applicants ) on SEPTEMBER 16TH AT 5PM PACIFIC STANDARD TIME......so 16th sept. is an important day i m guessing..

I received the same email. As always, I am very impressed by UOP. Emails says that they will inform all applicants..selections or rejections...and not just that ..they even mentioned the exact date when they will notify...From what I read from old posts..not many univs inform about rejections that soon and I haven't seen any with a certain date...more of month or X week of XXX month...Looking forward for Sept 16th. Good luck everyone!

Gracias....I was wondering it was Penn Dental....and then saw Warren Chang.Yup...I got the email from him about completed application.SO lots of stiff competition.Good Luck to all.

I just got an application complete email, 12 minutes back. (EST)
 
I got it too .. Good to know that its complete.. 🙂 .. i loved the presentation of the email... tabular form ..awesome!
 
well i have been unlucky my application is rejected coz one document was missing feel so disgusted

Really really impressive!

By far Pacific was the most applicant friendly school, extremely organized.
