UOP Housing

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
In May or June you will have the opportunity to participate in the raffle for student housing. I currently live at the one on Post St, and I like it, but there are definitely downsides (too much like a dorm, not the NICEST place out there...). Pros = on site gym (not that great, but does the job), rec room with pool table, lab, 24 hr security, parking, convenience, internet and utilities included, price.

If you don't get student housing, try to get something within 5-7 blocks of school. There's plenty of options--Webster Center on Geary and Webster, Fillmore Center on Fillmore and Geary, and 2000 Post apts are nice too (located on 2000 Post!) with a pool, parking, etc. In most cases though, you will pay more than student housing--a studio can be upwards of $1400, whereas I pay $1000 in student housing for everything I listed above...

Good luck with the search.

I am sorry but did you just say LAB as in a DENTAL LAB inside the student housing?

yes--dental lab. I don't really use it b/c the lab at school is all i can handle--but it's nice to know it's there so you don't have to make a mess in your apt.
