wow, if i'm not mistaken, it sounds less like you really want to attend UoP and more like you'd rather make love to it. no worries, the children shall have immaculate teeth👍

Do you guys have any idea what post a December interviewers chances are? I have on Jan. 17th...or if you find anything out today let me know! Congrats hope your day was great.
 
January and even into the middle of february interviews tend to almsot all still get in. December is break, and the class doesn't fill before december 1st. After mid february there is a more significant drop in accepted students...but not everyone in the early interviews comes to pacific in the end...96% acceptance rate for early interviews doesn't say anything about how many of those accepted actually came.
 
okay, for those who saw me, i think you can tell i could never spit hot fire. ever ever ever.

UoP was awesome.

i got to meet armorshell in the flesh. he was nice enough to be at the lunch table and answer questions even though he wasn't given a lunch pass. that's altruism. oh armor *swoon* 😍

i got to see the sim lab where the sun shines in and makes all the plastic teeth and rubber faces look as if they were crafted by the gods...

all the students are taller. it's like they got something in their diet all the other schools don't have. and they look so professional dressed up ...

the halls are lined with chocolate. the walls are edible gingerbread cookies...

UoP is heaven on earth - a wondrous place.

okay, i exaggerate a bit. it is very impressive and i hope i get to go.

aside from the joking, now that my interview is over, it's like i have nothing to do but doubt. something about there being nothing more i can do but sit and wait.... :scared:

post script: nothing was mentioned about # of acceptances, how many they accept, what schools they accept from, or any stats of any kind now that I think about it. Although it was said at the intro something about the hardest part is getting the interview.
 
Thanks for the answers!! Makes me a little more hopeful. Also I am glad to hear you guys had a good time yesterday at your interview...I am so excited for mine, I want it to be January already!

How big are the interview groups?
 
usually 8 to 10 people per group

Haha. That's funny. I can't believe you are swooning over him. Hahaha. I mean, Armorshell is my buddy and we have a rainbow connection and everything so I know he's great. But that's just funny.
 
Ok so finally home and awake enough to be able to post about the day.

The whole interview process was awesome! It was very organized and relaxed you didnt even think you were interviewing at all. My interviewer was really cool and he even gave me a book about the history of the school.

All of the students seemed so happy to be there and they couldnt name any negatives other than the tuition (expected).

Armorshell was even nice enough and came by and searched for me, but he had to run to clinic so i didnt have a chance to really converse with him. You were right about questions they ask you a lot of i you have questions for them.

I had so much fun being there, its going to be a tough decision if im lucky enough to get into my top choices because UoP is definately up there!

hehe. I'm just a wee bit over the top sometimes but I don't deny that armorshell = absolutely swoon-worthy

Sorry it must come naturally. You either have a rainbow connection or not. LOL. Maybe you can establish some other type of connection.

He is pretty cute though. 😍 And tall.

it just reads "interview" on the UOP website. on aadsas, it reads "invited for interview". not sure if that's the info you were asking for. i think it'll stay like that until acceptances/rejections.

they said third..its written on the back of the lil book they send you with your official interview invite

i doubt they will this year thou...i dont think theyll come in on sunday to update aadsas...im guessing last year dec 1 was a friday or seomthing so maybe htey updated it at the end of hte previous work day..i dont htink they would do that for a monday...cuz that would be posting a whole wkend in advance...but i hope they do 😛

Does anyone know if the people who were on the alternate list from the previous year get called on the same day as the rest?
 
No offense armorshell but why is everyone so taken by you? I had an interview there on the 15th and I didn't notice any hero in a half-shell. Tear.

BTW, who do I have to give a chocolate square to to make sure I get in?

Thursdays are basically a negatory for the armorshell because that is fixed prosth and that means I am lunching in the sim lab. You have to schedule with me in advance on thursdays 👍
 
I dunno I had my student interview in the simlab- still a no on the handsome man that is "suppose" to exist there. Which reminds me, should I find it odd that my faculty interviewer and I were talking about dating and how san fran is the most 'single' place in the U.S.?

the handsome man was there when i interviewed in the sim lab. he brought with him all that was man. armorshell, so hot, want to touch the hiney. :laugh:

i don't think there is anything to fret as long as there was good rapport and if you can talk about dating, I'm assuming with a female interviewer, that's a good sign it was a pleasant conversation

my student interviewer was awesome. we talked a bit about biking and surfing and rock climbing and school. 😍

Ah, I know the score. We had a fixed practical on the 15th and we were probably in lecture instead of lab while the row instructors were "grading our practicals" (we found out later they actually eating sushi :laugh:)

Who wereyour faculty/student interviews with?

Dude, my big sis is so rad. I'm pretty excited to see who I end up with as a little bro/sis. Plus whoever I get basically becomes SDN famous by association.
