I believe that in around two weeks they will start to send the invitation letters. I read somewhere on the SDN forum that they will make a difference between old and new format of NDBE part1. Does someone know something more about this?
Anyway, good luck to all who wait for the invitation!

Did anyone get application complete mail from california schools..?
I sent my application a month ago and no information yet...Should I call the school and confirm..?
 
Well i had the same feeling lingering like what happened and called UCSF, they told that its not thier policy as such to mail and tell that application complete but still as i have called they just searched the records and told me its complete. The staff was excellent and very helpful.
UOP and USC did send the mail, no idea abt UCLA

I did get an e mail from UOP.... but nothig from USC.... I'll have to call...
 
Oooops... I forgot we can check the status of our application to USC online....😀
 
I got an e-mail from USC saying that my official ece, part1 sores,dental degree, proof of licence form and recos are missing..?😱 I have sent all these documents a month ago. How can they miss almost all my documents. This is ridiculous. I called ada and they said they posted 2 months ago.
What do you suggest me to do. Shall I call the school and talk to them. I already e-mailed them.
Plz advice me.

Whatever is happening with the admission offices of these schools is too bad.Last year Colorado lost my complete file even though I applied in the first month when they started accepting applications.
 
what is the problem with usc toefl 🙁
when asked they told me that they will accept sealed additional candidate report and i sent them a sealed one and now they say that they are not processing toefl and contact the graduate school
what am i supposed to do
totally confused!!!!!

Yeah - u better call them soon and talk to them .. works better that way..
 
Call up the graduate school and ask if they've received your toefl reports.. if they have ,then the dental school takes our reports from them.. else , send it in FAST...

but i have already sent my original toefl score in sealed envelope to the dental school 😕

About USC... I checked my application status online today and it showed that I was missing some documents although I had received and e mail some time ago saying my application was complete.... so... I kind of panicked and called the school...
The lady says that as long as you receive an e mail saying application is complete you are OK... I guess the idea is: Trust the e mail, not the web site....

yes the Usc Dental school does not processthe toefl scores,they are done by the graduate school.know its crazy but i suggest that u send the score again to the grad school.doesnt hurt!

Never know what the administration is upto?

UOp and USC send the email regarding your application completion status very soon,almost ina weeks time.

Dnt know about ucla and uscf-not applied there

About UCLA... This is the info on their web site:
Timeline

All of the above items (1-8) must be received no later than 4:00pm on September 1, 2007 at the address listed below.

Only completed applications will be eligible for review by the Committee. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that all materials are received by the September 1st line date.


They do not send an e mail confirming if application is complete... and if we are missing something is too late, the line was Sept.1st......😱
 
Let me tell u. Actually TOEFL goes to code 4852 does not matter 38 / 00 dept code. But it shud not be sent to 4793 code. Thats more important.

Rest evrything in paper like Recos goes to the dental school. Grad skool does not need anything in paper. They need online info etc etc.
 
i got the UOP login and password and thats where we can check our application status.

regarding UCLA... it was tough. u have to call em up to check ur status. i called them like 10 times i guess. no where in the application check list have they mentioned that they need transcrpts separately. then they asked me to fax it. i faxed it to them 3 times. they didnt get em. this is what i did then. i called their office from my cell and asked the lady to stand beside the fax machine... lolz... and then when she got the fax, she said "u shud send these transcripts by mail too"... lolz... so i had to send them separately by courier... till now i have spent around $250 as courier charges for all the universities to which i have applied, and i still have NYU left... lolz

anyway my application was complete quite a few days after the deadline. infact it happened just last week... so there aint any hard n fast deadline... or they might have been a lil flexible with me... 🙂 God knows...

regarding USC,online it shows that nothing has been received till now.i had sent all my documents via mail and i got an email saying that they received it.also i called up to check for the TOEFL scores few days back and they told me its been received.now online it shows nothing😡

i didn't receive any email from Emily that said anything specifically regarding my application, although i did get a generalized email two days back which said that she is not checking status of application for anyone.

i am confused😕😕😕😕

Hey guys,
You have to check ur application status with the user name and the password they have given to know whether ur offered a invitation for interview or not. I hope this helps.

I actually did not get a letter, but I checked the online page and saw that I was invited. I don't know when the interview will be or any other details about it...

same here... i just got an email from warren chang regarding invitation for interview and that i'll recieve a letter in a few days.

the online status states that too.

I also got an email from UOP regarding interview and technical exam. They haven't mentioned dates for interview and technical exam, so i am waiting for a hard copy. Does some one has idea of exercises that are we have to do during technical exam.

The orientation is on 24th October and interview on 25th and 26th Followed by the technical exam on 27th October .

I got the denial from UOP. I would like to know the reason for the same. People who received the invitation, can you please post your NBDE Part I score and GPA from ECE? Also did you take NBDE Part II?

This will help me understanding where I need improvement.

many congrats to all those who got interview calls and good luck with the interview.

I request everyone who are getting the calls to please share their stats when they mention that they got a call.I know there are many who shared it at some place or the other but if u do it again when u mention about the invitation,it will be very helpful to all of us.It will take few mins but you help others in this small way.

I hope to see some scores too in this thread.:luck:

Hi htap...can u please tell where did u get the information that the interview will be on 24,25,26 coz no where on the website have they mentioned this thing.......they have just told on the website that the bench exam will be in the last week of october.......did u call and inquire this from the admission office ?????

I got the invitation letter for the interview by mail today.
 
Rejection here too ...

Wonder why...
