Your stats are really good, maybe your experience is too little... You could maybe volunteer and gain more experience, this would help! My stats are similar to yours but I have more experience. Best of luck to you, be patient and keep on applying, you'll get an invitation, it is just a matter of time.

sfo airport will be ur best bet. congrats on getting invited....its a beautiful school. i have been there, but got a rejection.

well i got an email from Warren Chang first letting me know that a letter by post is on its way... but after an hour os so, i got another email, in which he had attached a scanned copy of my invitation letter that he had sent by post, so that i cud see my letter before hand... now i dunno if he was so courteous only with me or with other ppl as well 🙂 probably he realized that it'll take some time for my letter to reach me by post; so he emailed a copy.

anyway if you're not in US, u can ask him for the same. the dates given in the letter are from 24 to 27 October.

24 Oct = Light dinner 🙂 and orientation

25 Oct = 2 interviews and financial aid information

26 Oct = 2 interviews and financial aid information

27 Oct = The Big Day... 🙂 practice session followed by technical exams

we have to bring our own high speed hand piece with 4 hole connection...

Congratulation everyone ! An invitation alone is a huge accomplishment ! One foot through the door.
Also, note that you will only be required to attend one of those 2 days, ie; either October the 25th or 26th (and not both). So orientation, interview, technical exams and you're DONE !

it's a four day long session. on 24th there is registration and orientation. 25th-26th interview and on 27th technical exam.
my stats are
part 1/2 94/84
toefl 104
gpa 2.39
is it mandatory to attend this registration and orientation. can't we directly attend the interview and technical exam?
if anyone know abt this please let me know as i have 3 months old baby who breastfeeds....

To confirm attendance to interview, we have to mail a fee of 100 dollars by Oct. 5th.

P.S Rythm, I understand how difficult it is to leave your baby for so many days but I would say that it is important to go to the orientation... If you do not show up they might think that you will have same problem later and will be missing classes if accepted... Also, in orientation day they will give us our personalized interview schedule...

hi i also got the interview packet today starts from 24th-27th. does nebody know how the technical exam is conducted and from where can we arrange for a hand piece. and ya how many ppl are invited bc i believe the interview is being conducted during these dates only with no exceptions.

Hi Elto! It seems to me that they have only one batch, not two. Try to make it if you can, it is very important...!

I would borrow it from your dentist. A handpiece is too expensive to buy just for an interview.

I have an office in milpitas ( close to san jose) that I usually open for practice sessions a few days before the UCSF and UOP interviews. I also rent outhandpieces for clinical tests.( limited quantities) E mail for fees at [email protected] if interested
