UoP interviews

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I called today to ask them about my status and they said all of their interview dates are full.

I talked to them a couple of weeks ago, and they said they really liked my application, and thought I was a strong candidate, but because I had completed my application really late, it probably wouldn't happen for me this year. However, the woman I spoke with encouraged me to reapply early next year if I don't go elsewhere this year.

I think if you haven't heard by now, things aren't too rosy. But good luck anyway!

I talked to them a while back and their website says my application is complete and they received everything in September and I haven't heard a word. I thought I was a good applicant 25/26/20 3.8/3.7😡

wow, it seems like it.. sometimes things boil down to luck. how long has it said "under review"? I mean it' supposed to be that way 4-8 weeks or something right?

Mine has been in review officially for a few weeks only.

Have you called them? they're really friendly and attentive over the phone...

Good luck!

Always call UOP...the squeeky wheel gets the grease there...but...they have tons of applicants so if you know someone there or someone who has graduated from there, have them make a call. California is a the capital of "who you know is more important than what you know" and there is a touch of that at Pacific. You still have to be impressive on your own, but knowing someone who has impressed them in the past can certainly help matters (my husband didn't know anyone and still got in but lots of our friends had UOP referrals).

Have you checked their status website? Mine got reviewed in December, and then got changed to "No Decision, re-review in Jan." which means I pretty much suck I guess... but yea, I'm nowhere near those stats...

My status reads the same "re-review end of January" and it was last updated Feb. 2. I'm guessing that means better luck next year.
