did you guys have "re-review in Jan" status before getting the invites?
I also got an interview invite yesterday and scheduled mine for Feb. 8th, however Janelle did say over the phone that my interview was for an alternate spot, so maybe it depends on the applicant. Just curious, but at UoP, does anyone know typically how many alternates actually are accepted?

I think if Pacific is interviewing for an alternate spot, they will tell you right away over the phone. Good luck!! Hopefuly I'll get to see you all this July
She told me over the phone that it was for an alternate spot, I didn't ask her.

Update for those interested: as of today, they only give out interviews for alternate spots and there are only a couple of those left.
you guys should still go to those itnerviews!! A lot of people I met during my alternate interview last year around March got in. 4 out of 11 from my group got in last year.
I had an interview there yesterday and they told us we will hear fom them in 10 days ,I do not get it if they are interviewing for waitlist how whould they know how many spots they got in 10 days???!!!!

Your interview have been most likely for the class spot but not for alternate list.
Just got a call from Janelle for an interview for alternate spot. Dates available: Feb 18th, 22nd, 25th. Will be going 22nd 🙂

Hey for those of you who had interviews, what was your status? And did you contact the school at all? I have been anxiously waiting and my status has been the same for a very long time, just wondering if I should call, but I don't want to hound them.
What's the movement on Pacific? there has been lots of interviews going around since Dec 1st but I haven't seen anyone posting about their acceptance. So when is the next batch of students who are going to be accepted?
Do you guys know of cheap places to stay for a night near UOP?

You might be able to find a student who will lend their couch. I used to offer mine to SDN people but now I have a studio 😱.
There are some cheap places in the Marina which is a short Muni ride, as well as in Western Add. (sketchy). Whatever you do, stay northwest of Bush/Van Ness (aka, out of the Tenderloin) unless you want to score some black tar heroin before your interview.
Brother Penguin, do you know of any other students letting interviewees stay O/N at their place? 🙂
