UoP re-review in January

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Be patient! As like most schools, the people that actually accept their invitation is much lower than the amount of invites they give out. The example I can give is when I was at Indiana they said they give out 100 invites to out of state students and only 30 or so accept after the first round of invites on December 1st.

I'm sure the pocketbook effect (aka picking the cheap state school over the insanely pricey 3 year private university in California) is the cause of this. Just keep hoping and wait till January!

However, UOP is on top of many applicant's list (unlike Indiana). Re-review in January is better than a rejection right now.

i got a re-review too. has anyone been flat out rejected from uop?

Are you saying that someone accepted into their state school would pay double or triple just to go to Uop? Well yeah I understand the 3 year thing, but common its a fact that the number one deciding factor in D-school selection is the cost.

Cost is one deciding factor, not the number one deciding factor.

Hate to bring bad news but @ UoP, re-review=reject 95% of the time. It's just a really nice way of saying it.

NOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Oh, UoP... why are you such a tease????

Quick question:
I'm in the running for just one school in this cycle. I just looked into UoP as a potential school for the next cycle if I don't get in and noticed this on their website:
Applicants should achieve a B or better in each course; no D, W, F or I grades.

I have 1 W on my transcript. Does this mean automatic rejection?

I would say no... I have 1 W and got accepted. 🙂 Elective, non-science class though.

Because you are amazing. Congrats, and thanks for the heads up. I'll give it a go next year 😉
