I just finish my interview at UOP yesterday.. Feb.19th...
There were 10 beeing interview in one day.. small group..
We are interviewing for alternative spots.. meaning if we make it.. we are still on the waiting list, we will be ranked.. 1 to 60.. from the pass .. usually the first 1-15 gets in..
THey said they will interview until the end of Feb or begining of March... and review and rate all the applicant together to rank them.. So, don't know what my chances are.. ..
just some info for you guys.. hope it is helpful😍

I really want to go there, and I wonder the same thing. They seem to have some really long processing times (please wait 4-8 weeks). It took them a month and a half to report that the got my application fee, and I pay by money order to avoid any delays.
i second that.Originally posted by sxr71
- there are no more reviews after the final review! 🙂
it's kinda funny to see how these CA schools do their things. here at UOP, they have in-review, review, re-review, final review !!!!!
at USC, highest priority, first stage, second stage, third stage, critical stage....
they're trying to mess with y'all.

The site has been updated... but mine still says "Re-Review in January" .. hello!? does that make ANY sense.. .I think not... haha... i guess it's time for that rejecct letter to come in any time now.. hehehe.... I'm still waitin to hear from two other schools... if i get into one of them.. i'll be SOOo happy..! I guess UOP was meant for others and not for the rest..

I find the whole process of dental school applications interesting in hindsight, to say the least.
For example, I'm very fortunate that I was accepeted to UOP. I heard from them on Dec 1, but then I see people on this forum that have been accepted to UCLA and UCSF, but they haven't even interviewed at UOP. I personally haven't heard from UCLA, and I had an interview at UCSF, but haven't heard back from them yet. Looking at stats, one would think that if you get accepted to UCLA or UCSF, you should get into all the Cali schools . It's interesting how it all works out. I think each school must have certain things that they look for, and I guess stats aren't everything.
