UOP waitList/Reject confirmations

I am kind of a new member. Even though I have been on this board for a while.

Congratulations for all those who got confirmed. Party time...
Hope we all can join some day with you soon...

I am on the waitlist for UOP second batch (Dec) and BU too.
I have not got a letter from UOP yet.. Did some body recieved?

My scores are Part-1 87 and TOEFL 261 GPA 3.1

Since it is very difficult to know the position on the waitlist, and
how big is the waitlist, it is really nail biting time. (I ran out of
them... )

To helps between us who are in to similar kind of situation I am
requesting everyone to post if either they are on the waitlist
or got a reject letter..

Hope this helps people like me who are on the waitlist. and also
gives an idea for third batch..

Wish you all the best for those who are appearing for the March batch.

March batch people also welcome to post if they are for sure
attending for the interview... I have seen some people are not
showing interest in going just for the waitlist...

Or if they are defering their admision. That would give you an idea of how far down will the waiting list be going.

tht sounds like a good idea. charaka, can u let us know whn u had ur interview in bu? and whn did u get ur waitlist position in bu?
do u have any workexperience?
i am waiting for my bu results they just keep postponing it.

I attended in Nov. for BU. Infact I have not received any waitlist confirmation from BU. But once when I called tehm, they gave some kind of vague sense that, if you have not received reject letter which means you are on the waitlist.

But next time onwards I am getting very similar kind of answer either they would send a letter in two weeks or they have not completely evaluated the file.

I heard from one of my friend at BU, she mentioned me the same.

So I hope I made it to the waitlist. Not quite sure.

My stats are very similar to yours. I wish and hope you get thro...
87 is such an inbetween score (as someone else mentioned). These days the competition is too much. I have applied very late to BU as I gave NBDE in Dec.

yes! I think being one among inidans it is becoming more difficult for this year, espicially in those schools who looks for little bit of diversity. Which is not bad either. Classes should be diversified, with good pool of people.

Hope we all get through this...

Did you got confirmed some where.. I am sorry, I cannot remember all those threads, and all the confirmations. If you have already posted and I missed it.

i am in wait list too for uop. i have not recieved any letter too from them.
i know few of my frnds r in wait list too.
so i think its really hard to find out.

I received a letter from UOP about the waitlist position. They have given time till 19th, and asking us pay $500 if we are intrested to continue on the waitlist.

since it does not say what is my position in the waitlist it won't help much.

Is it the same deadline for mainlist also...

ritu14, meggs, dimple,organic, mystiq could you guys please confirm...

any information from UOP is going to be helpful for all of us... please do post...

My deadline is Feb 15th, but I ask for it to be pushed a bit further since I'm abroad, so I have until the 23rd.

I guess by the 19th they will know who's accepting it or who's deffering it.

well i guess bu is sending out reject letters now.one of my friends had her interview in oct and got a reject letter last week. i think if we dont receive anything frm thm for the time being its good for us.
