I just wanted to start one for UOP since there's one for UCSF. If anyone has recently declined their acceptance please post, or anyone else on the waitlist that already have been accepted:luck:

Yea, I also want to know how many people in the wait list.

I just received an letter today. There will be 50 people in the wait list. Does anyone know how many they usually pull off from the wait list?

I was in the wait list last year. Even though there is only 50 people on the waitlist, I bet you it will grow to 100 by July. So even though you are in the top portion, you could be number 33 on the waitlist which means you have no chance at all. If you are in the middle portion, you probably should start applying again. If you are in the second half of the top portion which mean you could be number 16 at the highest, I can tell you your chances are slim. But you never know, every year is different. It all depends on what percent of UOP acceptees also got accepted to UCSF, UCSD, USC, and Western. Every year, the demographics change.

Oh, so the waitlist number will continue to increase?

how do u guys know how many people are on the waitlist?

that sucks so no chance now I'm over it

I second that. This year I promptly refuse to be on UOP absurb waitlist. I am already accepted to a better school and much cheaper tuition. But more importantly, I was warmly welcomed by the staff and the students. I was so eager in the interview with UOP, but the student interviewer was a load of crap jerk who got in the program with no degree because he signed up for guarantee transfer. He had no professionalism, paid no attention and avoided eye contact.
Good luck to those on the waitlist, though

I received a mail from them.

I got that letter too, and no, there's not exactly 50 people on the waitlist. UoP never gave a number, that was merely just an estimation. They never specified how many people were on it as of right now. Did anyone's letter say if they were near the top, middle, or bottom portion? Mine said that I was at the top, but I think they're just trying to give me false hope.

I don't know if this helps but I gave up my UOP acceptance not long ago when after I got the letter from UCSF. I don't know if that was before or after they sent out the waitlist letter.

I also declined my UOP acceptance (probably going to UCSF). I sent UOP a letter last week. Good luck everyone!

I'm currently on the waitlist for UOP and I will withdraw my name from the wait list on monday. I'm high on the waitlist btw. So I hope that helps.

Thank you lp0309 and harry85. Anyone more consider decline or withdraw UOP? 🙂)

Have you guys recieved any waitlist confirmation from UOP after you sent in the waitlist request?

The waitlist letter said I was at the top of the waitlist but I think they tell everyone that. My interview date was one Feb. 6th, but I think I am going to decline my seat since USC was always my first choice. So one more spot for someone on the waitlist. 👍

thanks! waiting sucks...👎 any other good news?
